Does anyone have any experience with this in your young daughters?

My just turned 4 year has been referred to see an endocrinologist st he children's hospital. Her gp thinks she's far to young to be experiencing this but referred to get tests done.

Just wondering if anyone else has been through this at such a young age?

My daughter had this and there was lots of blood test but no real treatment. She is super tall for her age and started her cycle at 9. I have just made sure I have been really open about the fact her body is changing and made sure to answer any questions she had as honestly as I could. I do admit I did have a little cry when she had her period as it seems so young and super unfair but she’s coped with it so well. If you have any other questions please just drop me a PM x

Thank you x

My daughter was diagnosed at 6. We went for treatment which should end next year when she is 10. There are various reasons for treating or not treating which depend on height, breast growth etc. It may not be PP but a hormonal spurt called premature adenache[sp].

Surprisingly little information/support on mumsnet when DD was diagnosed but fortunately there is an active and friendly group on Facebook 'Precocious Puberty UK'. Come join us or feel free to pm me.
