Travel Buggy for 2 year old

I will travelling long haul with my daughter 13 hours to Singapore which I’m already terrified about but we have booked a night flight. She will be 2y10 months by the time we fly and as much as she runs around constantly when she’s tired she does want to sit in her buggy and we will be there for 2 weeks so I can’t go without. I’m currently using a bugaboo fox 2 but won’t want to bring that with me.
Budget isn’t an issue really I just need a great travel buggy that will still be suitable for an older toddler.
suggestions please!
Also does anyone have advice as to if I should bring the buggy into the cabin or put in the hold? What is best? This is her first holiday.

Definitely a Babyzen yo-yo. I’ve only ever had it refused on domestic flights in countries, but otherwise you can put it in the cabin. I would take in the cabin because it’s a long walk and toddlers are slow, equally it’s tough to manage a toddler and cases and they’re heavy to carry! Getting off and going through go the border control of a country can also be tricky without the buggy and Collecting your big cases tends to happen after. It can be a slow process. Just be aware you can’t often put it up until you’re off the flight and need to collapse it before you get on the plane itself, so you might need to juggle how this works with hand luggage with your partner because you’ve then got a toddler and buggy to carry. The yoyo is pretty light for a buggy and has a shoulder strap, but if you’re petite and not that strong like me, then that plus cases and a toddler can be tricky (especially if standing around as others get on). It’s a great buggy though, easy to fold (sometimes wheels turn and you manually turn them straight to allow collapse) and seems to be comfortable for them as well as being very easy to manoeuvre.

For long haul flights we find night flights work best. Our dd tends to fuss while on the runway because she’s cross about not walking, but once we take off she’ll have some food and then I get her into pjs and settle her to sleep. Sometimes she’s asleep when we arrive, so the buggy really helps.

Following as been researching this myself. My youngest is 2 but will be 2.6 when we go away and his usual cheap umbrella stroller that we use locally will be a pain (it's also on its last legs so looking to invest in another one anyway!)

Is the yo-yo genuinely big enough for kids up to age 3-3 and half? That's my only concern which has stopped me purchasing so far. I want it to last and be comfortable for a bigger toddler

We travelled a lot with our child when he was a toddler - also Singapore at that age is amazing! I highly recommend getting them into doing mini work outs at home before you go so that before you board so they are tired rather than over stimulated by the number of screens around them. Also find an empty gate and just encourage them to run around.

Definitely take a travel buggy that you take on the plane, the smaller the better as the mrt can be crowed in singapore. Definitely take an additional black out buggy cover as it means she can nap on the go. The malls tend to be cold so remember to take a blanket/long sleeves tshirt when you go.

We went for the Joolz Aer+ for this reason. The back of the seat was higher than the yoyo so would last until they were older. We also much preferred it to the yoyo for various reasons (easier to fold, nicer to push) and I could only find positive reviews about the Aer+.

We have a mountain buggy nano. Easily fits ds3 and we've even put dd6 in it. Easy to collapse, carry bag, fits in overhead.

We went for the bugaboo butterfly and are really happy with it. I would definitely recommend, it meets all your requirements

@LiquoriceAllsorts2 thank you I had considered this as hehe a fox for the main pram so used to the brand, is it ok for an older toddler? I presume she may well use it up until age 4 for holiday purposes/long walks and she gets exhausted etc x

I have only used it for an under 2 but I think that it would be, he doesn’t seem to be close to outgrowing it. I am planning on using it for another couple of years

We are using baby zen yo-yo this week whilst we are travelling with our 3 year old. It’s perfect sizing still. Ds is tall for his age also.
We had long walk at airport on arrival, and long wait at passport control. Then long walk at airport sorting car hire collection. So I’m glad we had pram as it was about 2 hrs walking and sitting in queues. Took onboard as handluggage.
We have used at the zoo yesterday on bumpy ground and Ds had a few naps the last few days ( which he doesn’t often nap at home now)
