Hi I was just wondering if this is okay my 10 month old has had his morning bottle 9ounce but hasn't drank it all today there's just over 3ounce left would it be okay to transfer the rest into his sippy cup to drink with his breakfast I just don't know because his bottles get sterilised but his sippy cup doesn't so I don't know if this is going to cause germs I'm not sure would it be okay for him to drink instead of waste?

Yes its fine as long as its being used within an hour or so.

It's fine. I would imagine your baby is putting all sorts of things into his mouth that haven't been sterilised? You can probably stop sterilising the bottles too!

Sterilising bottles is just in case there is milk residue on them which can easily grow harmful bacteria. Many countries only recommend sterilising bottles for the first few months so I don’t think it’s a big risk not to sterilise them as long as they are washed well with hot water and detergent or put through the dishwasher. The NHS does recommend sterilising until age 1. A sippy cup for water doesn’t need sterilising although some of them have complex valves that easily grow mould.
