Paying for diesel with children

This topic of conversation recently came up with a friend and it got me thinking. When you fill your car with diesel and have your baby / toddlers in the car, do you leave them in the car and run in and pay, or do you unload them and bring them in with you?

I go to pay at pump mostly. But the odd time I haven't, I've locked them in the car and paid in kiosk.

Leave in the locked car, with the alarm going off as they wouldn’t have stayed still 😂
