Hey guys, just needed to rant really and feel like I’m not the only one.
I live with my 2 kids DS5 + DD2 and DH and
Every year since I’ve had the DC the changing season months Sept/Oct + March/April the whole house should have a giant sign on the door CONTAGIOUS.

We have had zero break between illnesses of some sort and this year has been no different.. I feel like we are crawling to the end of April hoping that we are coming to the end of the tonsillitis/strep/sickness bugs /colds. DH works full time I work PT + study my for Accountancy exams in the evening when kids are bed. DC go to nursery 2 days a week and my mums 1. They exercise loads, sleep 12hrs a night, eat healthy (lots of fruit and veg) give them sambucol and vitamin D, get plenty time outside to play and none of it seems to make a since iota of difference 😅

I appreciate there are bigger troubles/ a lot going on in the world. But with the way the world is and both parents basically having to work it just feels like we are on a hamster wheel constantly trying to be good parents, keep bosses happy, run a home, pass exams, and battling constant infections and bug after bug is just a bit soul destroying . Is it particularly bad because of the lockdowns? Or is this normal? Do you guys have similar peaks of this? I feel like I am constantly cancelling plans to stay at home cause we are Ill just now but my friends just aren’t on the same level?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You always get illnesses when children mix with other children, children are always putting fingers in their mouths and then touching everything.
