Weaning - 3 meals a day?

Hi all, my LO is just over 6m (28wk) but he has been weaned since 17/18 weeks. He’s doing a mix of baby led and me feeding him. He’s doing well with lumpy foods and stopped being sick with them and we seem to be going good! He’s currently having some breakfast about 9.30am after his nap, and then some tea about 5pm. But since his weaning journey began around 10 weeks ago should i now be giving him a little bit of lunch too? I have no doubt he will take it! But just not sure if i should wait till 7/8months before he is on 3 meals a day.
I also just wondered if anyone could share there schedule for feeding? (with bottles and food) as i wasn’t sure if i was giving breakfast too late with it being 9.30am after his nap or i should be giving it at 8am just before his nap.

Thanks for any help!

We started weaning early too (4 months for medical reasons) and by 6 months my eldest was on three meals a day. My youngest started weaning herself a bit early too (5.5 months) and was on 3 meals very quickly,

This is the basic plan that we used.

7am - wake and milk
8am - breakfast
9-10am - nap
10am - milk
12pm - lunch
1pm - milk (this was the first milk feed both kids dropped. We offered this as a drink with lunch as well as water)
1pm - 3pm - nap
3:30pm - milk
5:30pm - tea
7pm - bed and milk

I think you just want to be careful you don’t replace any milk with food at this point. You don’t want to drop any milk feeds really until closer to 9 months.

Milk feeds will drop on baby's timetable. Some will be ready to drop milk feeds earlier than others.

We dropped feeds when the baby no longer asked for it or took it when offered. Happened by accident a bit with my first. I forgot to offer his post lunch breastfeed and he didn't ask for it either.

This is all really helpful thank you!! As i say i know he probably would take lunch he loves his feed but wasn’t sure if i was ‘over feeding’ by offering it him. Currently my schedule is like this:
6am wake 6oz (he will not sleep a minute later haha and usually wakes around 5.30am)
6.30 bottle 6oz
8am nap
9.30am breakfast
11am bottle 6oz (this is one i think he will drop eventually but not yet)
11.30/12pm nap
3/4pm bottle 7oz
5pm Tea
6.45 bottle/bed

So if i was to intro lunch would i be best offering it just after his lunch nap? Which can be anywhere from 12.30-1.30pm? Or is that too late?

He also takes a 7oz feed in the night anywhere from midnight to 3am :)
