Stage 3 toddler milk?

I know follow on milk is unnecessary and that stage 2 milk is mostly a marketing ploy and that cows milk is fine from 12 months. However I have a couple of tubs of Kendamil stage 3 and one of stage 2 that were brought by mistake (by DH who didn't know there were different types and lost the receipt before he could return them). I guess there is no harm in using the stage 2 milk at some point before 12 months but was wondering about the stage 3. Should we use them after 12 months as a transition to cows milk or not use them at all? Seems wasteful just to chuck them out and not sure what else to do with them. What is the purpose of stage 3 anyway? Only for toddlers that don't eat much?

Either use them or put them in the food donation box in the supermarket. Their purpose is to make money but, as you said, because they've been bought they may as well get used by someone.

As you've got them, there's no harm using the stage 2 between 6 and 12 months and the stage 3 after 12 months.

Agree with others, you might as well use them, they certainly won't do your DC any harm.

Unfortunately iirc many food banks won't take formula.
