Shallow gag reflex - dummy alternatives?

We had our Osteo check our 8 week old's mouth (she clicks when she breastfeeds - latch adjustment makes it better but doesn't stop it fully). He says she has a super shallow gag reflex, which, along with meaning she can't latch deeply, is making her reject dummies, despite desperately wanting to suck constantly. She lovessss sucking on the soft flesh of the side of a hand, but obviously this is a bit impractical for prolonged periods! She basically wants to make a seal on something, and suckle, but not have much of it in her mouth at all. Any suggestions on what she could use? Even the smallest premie dummy makes her gag. Anyone else had a similar issue?

(For reference, she's feeding and gaining well, though she does have nasty reflux.)

Have you had her assessed for a tongue tie? I mean by a recognised tongue tie practitioner, not someone who isn't trained to perform a full oral function assessment.

All babies have a shallow gag reflex to begin with, but this is likely to be more exaggerated in those with a tongue tie due to their tongue not being able to rest at the roof of their mouth properly and not pushing the reflex back. The clicking is a dead give away too.
