Do I need to use a child size back pack

I'm in need of a bag to carry my toddlers things around when we go to toddler groups for their food, drinks etc

Everyone at these groups and those I see on days outs seem to be carrying a toddlers backpack themselves.

It doesn't look the most comfortable so I was looking for any advice on what other people found practical. Happy to get a child looking one but would on over the shoulder one be easier?

Or is a drawstring bag a good option?

I just use a regular backpack,it's a black plain one,it can be worn crossbody or as a backpack,or if I need a bigger one I have a leather backpack I got years ago for my 1st, sometimes when my 1st was younger I used a handbag & a character bag for him but I got fed up of that so just used the one backpack & kept his character bag if his dad brought him out 😂

I just used a regular backpack, in a fairly neutral colour so DH was happy to use it too. They had a toddler one for nursery which I somehow always ended up carrying and was indeed uncomfortable.

With my eldest I used a toddler bag, my dh had no issues holding a minnie mouse bag over one arm. For ds we got a larger backpack, still a kids one but more suited for going to school. It had cars all over it because he was obsessed and could hold more in it. I've done the same for dd2, she is sickly so I need to have at least 2 full sets of clothes in there as well as large muslins, bibs, food etc. I used wildkin bags from Becky and lolo. They are quite robust and wash well.
