Milestones not reaching or delayed

Hi.
So my baby is 9 months old. He hasn't rolled from back to tummy. Doesn't push himself on his arms to lift upper body. He doesn't go on his sides when playing but he goes on side for sleeping. Doesn't sit fully without support. He moves in circles on tummy time and now army crawls by dragging his body and using forearms to move forward. I talked to his pediatrician in February and she was like he will do it, doesn't need therapy as he is perfectly fine. I did take him to osteo and physio on my own but i need a referral for physiotherapy (living in Germany). Osteo also didn't find much just some blockage. He eats and drinks perfectly fine. Now should i be worried or some babies just reach milestones later on but are perfectly fine? Google search scared of cerebral palsy.. i would love to hear from you mothers.

Oh he has a control checkup next week.

Hi,

All babies are different. My oldest daughter didn't roll over until she was like 1, she could sit up by 9 months. But she never crawled and started walking around 14 months. My second daughter is 9 months and she can't roll over properly, she still needs abit of support sitting up otherwise she'll fling forward and she can't crawl yet.

I'd say not to worry for now as babies develop differently and defiantly don't google it as it will scare you. I try and avoid it for that reason😂.

Did he have a bad birth?
What did physio ssy?

TinMom · 28/03/2023 00:03

Not sure what is bad birth. I was in labour for 24 hr because my water broke but i didn't have contractions. Then in the end they did feel his heartbeat was getting effected. And the baby got stuck in the end as my vag* wouldn't open to let his head through so i had episiotomy. But he cried when he was born and was normal. He was bigger baby then expected and compared to my body as i am short.
Physio said he needs more session to strengthen,i did ask if they think it's linked to something else like brain and she was like no no

Cerebral palsy usually linked to lack of oxygen poor apgar scores at birth obvious incident you dont have any so likely not c p
Are you hypermobile very bendy goid at gymnastics when young ? This can be hereditary Hypermobile kids can have motor delays and might need physio at some point.
Can you see. Private physii for. Review in a month or so ? By then he will be sitting fine
Or if needs help will be clearer
