have just received my first selection of bumgenius one size from ebay. now i have two questions so someone please help!

is the popper on the insert just to make it smaller to fit the pocket better or should i be snapping onto something?

do you need to use liners with these nappies or is it not worth it?

thanks in advance

I have just lstarted using them. The poppers on the inners are to make them smaller if you make the outer smaller.

I use liners on and off. I have dd 6mth and dd 22mths. I think the liners are more useable with older poos iykwim.

I love them though.

thanks lullabye! my dd's 6mths too, can't wait to try them tomorrow. Can i ask how many you have? i've just got 6 so far, didn't want to invest too much in case i didn't like them. how many do you think you need to use them all the time?

Hi

I too love my bumgenius!

The popper is as lula said to make them smaller and I don't use liners, I did buy the boots liners that are lovely and silky, but everytime my dd did a poo it all stuck to her floo and made cleaning up harder work! She is nearly six months and still isn't weaned, so I might change my mind when her poo's get solid!

I've got 20 nappies and I only have to wash every third day, I do them in the evening so I've then got the full lot for the next three days. I got mine bogof, there are loads of places doing bogof on them at the moment as they have just brought the V3 version out.

Hope you find them as good as others do!

thanks willow! do you use them at night? i have tried the mothercare smart nappies but didn't find them very good, hence changing to bumgenius. but have always used disposables at night because dd's a very heavy wetter! do you think one would last 12 hours?

Sorry for late reply. I have 8 for two children and it is no way enough. All the 2 for 1 offers are now done as they have sold out, but there is a website called cotton cherub. If you ring and speak to Rebecca, she will maybe give you a discount if you buy say 10.

At night I have found they are fine for dd2 who is 6mths and for dd1 whos is 22mths, I just put 2 booster pads in as she is a heavy wetter at night.
