How to help a teeting baby sleep

Result stating to loose my mind! My husband and I are looking zombies.

My 8 month old is usually a pretty good sleeper , sometimes would wake up, drink a bottle and go straight back to sleep.

The last 3 nights have been horrendous. She's waking up pretty distressed , crying, will drink some milk but Will still not settle. Even if I'm rocking her in my arms etc. This is happening multiplie times a night and she barker settles fir an hour

I THINK she is teething and I'm assuming this is what's causing it. I've been giving her calpol/nurofen which i think is helping a bit, but it's still a disaster at night.

She's eating and drinking her milk, but a bit miserable during the day to

Any advise please? I don't remember it being like this with my son

Bumping as my DD 7 months old is doing exactly the same! Hopefully someone can help. I bought a book on sleeping but I’m too tired to read it when she does have a nap or sleep for an hour.

depends on the baby, my eldest was easily soothed with those powder sachets and some nurofen, my youngest was ok but had a couple of nights where she literally woke every hour and it was torture.
All you can do is try the meds/ soothers- try ice in one of those silicon soothers for them to chew on: www.amazon.co.uk/Silicone-Teething-Pacifiers-Teether-Toddler/dp/B08XTTG5Y6/ref=asc_df_B08XTTG5Y6/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=499390849891&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16143118965379415089&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006886&hvtargid=pla-1274152639884&psc=1

Rest whenever you can, and remember it passes. Good luck

Anebesol is good, during teething phases I put it on every evening after DD’s bath and then every 3 hours when she wakes, I think it helps as she would then do a longer stretch of 3ish hours rather than waking up after 1/2 hours.
