What age do daytime naps stop for toddlers?

DD will be 2 in April. She still has a daytime nap around late morning / lunchtime of 1 hr 30 ish.

What sort of age can I expect roughly that she will no longer need this?

Thanks

DD was 3.5 before she dropped hers.

There was a few weeks when she dropped napping around the two year regression but we carried on insisting
she went up and had a rest (she'd often end up napping after fighting it for a while). It nearly drove me potty at the time but I'm glad we kept it going as she plainly still needed them and reverted back to naps after the regression.

A lot of her friends' parents seemed to assume the two year regression meant the end of naps and then seemed to be dealing with endless tantrums and overtiredness all afternoon.

Both mine stopped at 22 months. It was a relief for me as I'd had two so close together and had been managing naps for what seemed like forever. I enjoyed getting our days back and putting DDs to bed earlier. I think DD2 would have carried on napping but her bedtime was getting later and later. So I stopped it and put them both to bed at 6.30pm and they sleep til 6.30/7am.

DS is 2y9m and still needs a daily nap. We don't stress if he misses it, but we know that between 4-7pm, he will be very challenging. When he will no longer have a nap, I will be insisting on quiet time in his room doing puzzles or looking at books on his own.

Mine was just before 2. He still naps for a few mins once a day in the car so I try and avoid any journeys over 10 mins after 3pm! We are very local to most things though so not an issue.

Much prefer it now he's not napping. Yes, I'm a bit more tired without a break but it feels like a normal life again without having to stay in for several hours a day while he napped. Plus he goes to bed at 6.30pm so a nice long evening for us.

I think this is a thing - change of routine and excitement = no more naps.

I know several toddlers who dropped naps on the first day of lockdown 🤯
