DD(5) wants 5 inches of hair cut off

She's told me what she wants and we've looked at pictures. She seems so sure but I'm concerned it'll be cut off and she'll be unhappy with it. She's sensitive and I don't want her to worry about her appearance already.

Mine did this and was a bit less than enthusiastic about it about 2 weeks later. It's been a year now and has finally (mostly) grown back. She doesn't want it done again but when asked is happy she was able to try it out.
