Hi

Please can anyone give me a recommendation of pacifiers suitable for breastfed babies?

Many years ago a midwife told me to look at my nipple shape after a feed and pick a dummy with similar shape.

We used NUK dummies. Shaped so they don't pull the teeth forward

It doesn't really matter. What matters is how you use it.

Some breastfed babies won't take dummies some will. One of mine did, one didn't.

If you're breastfeeding try not to use it until after 6 weeks. Prior to that it can, but not always, impact you're learning their hunger signs and impede the development of the milk supply.

It doesn't happen every time to every baby, but it is worth considering.

During the early weeks baby should feed often and have periods of cluster feeding.

MAM are the only ones my baby accepted but it took a while! Once we got her accepting MAM bottles (combi fed), it made sense that MAM dummies would work the best

I used the standard ones, I wouldn’t splash out on the fancy ones until you’ve tried the cheaper varieties.
I would honestly go with the cheapest your child will use, it will be a long time before their teeth are affected.
