Toddler headbutted newborn, didn't cry?

My toddler headbutted my 9 day old baby hard, I was holding him and felt the impact but baby didn't cry at all. I feel like I'd be less worried if he had cried then stopped. Wondering whether I need to pack us all off to A&E or if baby is just more robust than I'm giving him credit for and genuinely wasn't phased by it?!

I think I'd check it out, just to be in the safe side.

I would check it out too. They tend to see newborns quite quickly.

Unless he's showing signs of concussion or acting oddly I wouldn't do anything personally, and just keep a close eye on him for a while.

There's probably a nhs checklist somewhere for signs of concussion in babies.

At 9 days old I would deffo go to a&e - it will probably be fine but you do need to get it checked

(You'll def be in and out quickly if it's nothing as they see newborns fast)
