I’m breastfeeding two children at the moment,a newborn and a just turned 2yr old. It’s going well but I just can’t stop feeling really hungry,no matter what I eat I just never feel full.
im a vegetarian and trying so hard to stick to healthy choices but I just want crisps noodles and chocolate!
pleasr help me find easy to prepare cheap snacks.
thanx

Yeah I’m breastfeeding two and can totally relate. I’m generally too shattered to make myself anything decent so live off a range of cereal bars… but if I can be bothered, I try and eat crumpets, pita and humous, hot cross buns. I find those tend to fill me up more. Bowls of cereal often fill a hole too. And I get through a thousand bananas a week!

I’ve only ever breastfed one at a time but the trek protein bars are fab (and oats help with milk production, too!)

Boiled eggs?

It's not very healthy but I ate alot of chocolate cake whilst breast feeding and biscuits, I just felt I needed it, baby grew perfect and I didn't put any weight on so it wasn't too bad.
But also ate tuna, mayo on toast with cheese melted on top
Boiled egg butties.
Cheeses beans on toast.

My DH used to make porridge as I never had time to stand around stirring it, adding milk whilst cooking so it didn't stick to the pan.
Maybe get the microwaveable oats, oats are slow releasing apparently so fuller for longer.

I always had peeled boiled eggs in the fridge. Easy to eat with 1 hand, surprisingly filling.

Oat cakes with peanut butter. Omelettes. Baked beans on toast. Anything with protein and try to limit refined carbs.

Malt loaf. Easy to eat with one hand and not particularly messy.

Apricot wheats cereal or similar eaten dry from a bowl as a snack instead of crisps, sweets or popcorn. Like mini shredded wheat with sweet fruit puree middle. Maybe higher in sugar than ideal but at least filling and a good source of fibre.
