Toddler asking for snacks and not eating them

My 3yo dd asks for snacks a million times a day and a lot of the time she doesn’t even eat them. I was previously laid back about the food she left but I’m starting to feel really annoyed about all the food I prepare that she doesn’t eat. Has anyone found a good way to deal with this?

I just respond ‘not just yet dinner time soon’

or ‘there’s a drink and a babybel in the fridge’

if anything is left they are given it back again later

One snack time morning and one afternoon. Equally spaced between meals.
You decide what and when. Any other time, just say no.

Are you sure she I not mistaking thirst for hunger? Offer her water if she keeps me asking at non-snack times.

Offer a drink instead
Say no
Is she maybe abit bored?

Keep offering the same snack

Say no its not snack time

Say after you have a drink

Distract with a book or other activity

Stop giving her snacks all the time!

One in the morning, one in the afternoon. If something doesn't get eaten, put it away for later if possible.

I'd stop doing all the snacks, they don't really need them.

Breakfast, lunch, snack mid-afternoon if tea is late, tea.

It’s habitual, say no.

just say no? And offer water. If meals are adequate they shouldn’t need contact snacks. If you make snack and not eaten, just give it when asked again
