Just that; he has learned recently to roll back to front, however can't figure out how to roll back on his front. He does it constantly at night; and immediately cries or fusses as he can't get back to laying on his back. I think I had to get up 10 times last night to roll him back again. Also sometimes when he rolls he hits his head on the side of the cot poor thing. Is this a Phase? I bloody hope so as I barely slept a wink last night between the rolling, night feeds and him wanting his dummy 😴 help

Usually they learn front to back rolling first, I’d encourage lots of tummy time and learning to roll front to back in the day so he can sort himself out at night.

Hi my DS was exactly the same. Rolled onto his front from 3 months and slept like that . Even Now he does it at 8 months he's just comfortable like that. I was really worried at the beginning but he was happy like that so in the end I left him like that. He has only recently learned to roll front to back but still prefers to sleep on his front.

If it's a recent development then he'll either get tired of it or realise it's no fun and stop doing it in his sleep.
I agree lots of tummy time so he learns to roll back as well.
Hopefully you'll get some longer stretches of sleep soon

Ah that’s a bit rubbish, both for you and your frustrated little person! Agree that lots of tummy time during the day to help hone those pesky rolling skills is probably the way forward. They do go a bit bonkers practicing new skills whenever they’re discovered but it settles soon enough. ‘Tis but a phase, as my mum says about basically everything to do with parenting!

Deffo a phase until they learn to roll back.
Lots of tummy time and practising in the day.

My daughter did this, it only lasted a short while but was very frustrating and tiring while it went on! Agree with others, lots of practice in the day. She's slept on her front ever since she got used to it!
