My 9 month old boy sleeps on his front most of the night, he's only making it about 4 hours before his nappy has leaked and he's soaked through!
I've tried Tesco, Pampers Active, Aldi and they all leak!! Any advice?? Has anyone found a brand that doesn't leak??

I've always gone up a size when they start leaking.

Raindancer411 · 21/01/2023 08:24

For night time I have always gone for plus or a size up and plus

Orla32 · 21/01/2023 08:24

We were having same problem - we use little rascal and friends (Tesco) and haven't had any leaks since!!!!

And pants not nappies as they don't gap when their tummies shrink over night

beginnerwitch · 21/01/2023 08:25

Following as I have the same problem. Going up a size hasn't helped.

SunshineAndFizz · 21/01/2023 08:26

Go up a size. And go up a size vest too as they can get too tight.

Danikm151 · 21/01/2023 08:30

Nappy pants at night. They stretch with baby’s tummy.
can sometimes get them in size 3

FlounderingFruitcake · 21/01/2023 08:32

Not sure what you’ve tried other than brands but could any of these apply?
-Too tight vest not allowing nappy to expand
-Nappy is too small and need to size up
-Or the exact opposite and it’s too big and gaping
-He’s feeding overnight, if there’s a lot of milk being consumed then a single nappy may not be able to handle it and you’ll need to change him
-You haven’t tried a plus size for extra absorption and/or nappy pants

QforCucumber · 21/01/2023 08:32

We’ve always found the vest to be the issue rather than the nappies!!

Moonlightsonatas · 21/01/2023 08:33

Definitely try the pants, we used the Tesco ones. You can also try wearing the nappy backwards.

evemillbank · 21/01/2023 08:34

The answer to this is pretty much always just to move up to the next size, even when you can see the current ones seem to fit fine and have lots of room. It's worked every time for my kids.

Oh that's a good point! I hadn't thought about tummy shrinking so leaving a gap

You an get inserts from amazon. Weird name like Sampler?

runo103 · 21/01/2023 11:10

Definitely nappy pants! My son was leaking without fail every single night, I tried different brands, going up a size, down a size, bigger vest, onesies with zips, two piece pyjamas, everything I could think of, but the only thing that worked was nappy pants. I use the Aldi ones and we don't get leaks at all anymore.

Mum2Be93 · 21/01/2023 16:22

Thank you everyone for the hints and tips. He was in a baby grow when he started leaking, since gone to a top and trousers.

I will give pants a go as it seem to be the top it runs out of. I'll try all the brands suggested hopefully it'll stop the leaks🤞

Try them on backwards. Worked for our tummy sleeper
