Compact stroller recommendations

My DD is almost 1 and I'm looking for a compact stroller for her. We have a pram but it literally takes up my entire boot and I'm sick of it. I'm going to give this to my mum as she looks after DD once every other week, so if we need a more substantial pram for walks we will still have access to it. But really I'm wanting something small and quick to have in the car, but not taking up the whole car, for shops, popping out, walks (pavements, nothing 'off road').
So far looked at babyzen yoyo and joolz aer (put off by price!), mamas and papas airo (doesn't look that comfortable), silvercross clic (very shallow but not sure of how it looks), and maxi cosi lara2 (probably the top contender thanks to the price). After something that goes to 22kg plus so that its as long lasting as possible.

We also have guides to the best cabin-approved strollers you can take on the plane. We hope this is helpful! Flowers

Zeta.
Massive hood, good sized basket, very manuverable, easy fold, handle height suited me at 5'8 and DH at 6'1. DD was in it until starting school.

We have the silver cross jet. It's more a travel stroller as it folds really small. It's really handy because it's soo lightweight

We had a cheap umbrella buggy and it was fine, no frills but was very compact. I then bought the double version which reclined when dd2 was born

I LOVE the Babyzen. Am positively evangelical about it.

I have the Joie Pact - I like how quick it is to fold and how compact it is folded up. I haven’t used it too much yet though, only for quick trips to the shops but done the job (my DD is 2y8m).

Have a look at the ergobaby metro, way cheaper than the yo-yo but just as good! We are really happy with ours

Yeah I think a lot of the compact ones are marketed for travel, which makes me nervous that it won't be as durable/ sturdy when used everyday!

It's the one I really want but it's SO expensive! What makes it so good in your opinion??

We used our silver cross jet to travel around the world for 3 months. Used it every day and on about 15 flights. It looks brand new- very sturdy. I use it now for day to day. It folds so small it fits in the footwell of the car.

We live in London and it's very handy as so light - I can lift it up steps etc with a 1 year old in it. So easy for public transport. And can easily be folded in cafes etc with limited space.
Also it lays flat. If your baby would sleep in it?

Lots of strollers are very light which is annoying as they topple. Lots of my mum friends actually have stroller weights 🤣 and the have tiny baskets compared to 'big buggies' I miss the days clipping my heavy bag on the buggy and loading the basket with a weekly shop!
