Childproofing radiators

DD is 7 months and just started to crawl (backwards) so the childproofing phase is upon us. Just wondered what others had done about radiators. Ours get very very hot...

You can turn the general temp down on the boiler, or you can turn the individual radiator down at the valve if it has one. Have never really had a problem, though.

turn the temp on the radiator down

TBH never had a problem - think DS touched it once and learnt not to do it again

shell learn not to touch it.

we have an AGA. they all touch it once. then once more. then again once more just to check... and then never again.

it (and the radiator of which you speak im sure) is not actually hot enough to scald them or damage their skin at all.

They learn!

We too have an aga. My 2 have never gone near it. Similarly they don't go near the woodburner when it's on.

your DD will soon learn!

To lessen your worries turn the thermostat down or the temp control on the individual radiators.

Thanks for quick replies! Don't have individual temp control on our radiators, but will trust in your "she'll learn" suggestions!
