Donating Baby Clothes

I'd love to donate my daughter's old baby clothes to a women's refuge or somewhere they can do some good. I've looked up where our local refuges are but don't know if theyd be happy for a donation. I only have one supermarket bag full (I've been giving them to friends before now) but it's all essentials like sleep suits and vest tops.

TLDR; Any suggestions where I can send baby clothes (9-12m) that would make the biggest positive impact?

There's a church local to me that organises donations of baby equipment/clothes/toys etc for families in need. It's used by midwifery/health visiting/early help as well as families referring themselves.

One of the above organisations would know if there's anything local like that, I'd ring the general office number. Or just ring your local domestic abuse organisation and they will tell you if they take donations

Many food banks also take clothes and toys for babies and children. Either to pass on directly or to sell via a charity shop - either way it benefits those struggling.

How about your health visitor's centre? At mine there's a clothing bank for clothes up to 5 years. Don't know if they all do that, but you could ask

Look to see if you have a local baby bank / kids bank.

They’re like food banks but for baby & children’s items.

Ah thanks everyone! Great suggestions, I'll do some ringing around today 🙂
