Teething - can feel sharp teeth rather than gums

Hi everyone my LB is 5.5 months old and has been really off his milk for a few days and has been generally grizzly and blowing raspberries a lot. I can now feel 2 sharp teeth - does this mean they’ve broken through if it’s not covered by gum? I’m a first time mum and don’t know if we’ve possibly avoided awful teething pain and symptoms?
terrible photo attached!

If you can feel the teeth, they're through!

Well there’s another 18 to go yet… don’t count your chickens 😂

seriously though, my DS didn’t suffer much with teething pain apart from being a hot grizzly and off milk/food sometimes. You might be lucky!
