Does this look like an allergy rash?

I know you aren't doctors and I have spoken to my GP who said eczema or viral but I'm just not sure...

7 month old has had this on and off for a few weeks. Really does come and go. He has only had porridge (just milk in the porridge no oats) banana and apple today- along with usual milk

Mamma's who babies had/have allergies... what do you think? Should I worry...? Or speak to GP again? FTM - no temp and a bit miserable but otherwise he is fine

Looks a lot like my little one when he was a baby. He has a dairy allergy

This is what I thought... but its an absolute battle with my GP on it! "It's really rare" is all she keeps saying

I will ring them again Monday I think.

Hello, did you figure out where the rash came from? My daughter has this then little spots appear everywhere too.

Pretty much... We stopped dairy and the GP eventually gave us a dairy free formula.

It got SO much better. It took about a month but it stopped coming up as much and now he is 11 months and hasn't come up for about 3 months. His skin is completely clear!!

We are back on most dairy products (cheese, butter and food containing milk) now with no problems so he must be outgrowing it. Still on the dairy free formula but will be re trying that next month when he's one.

Insist on trying a dairy free formula, or if you BF cut out dairy. It significantly improved for us and hasn't made a return since

I would keep a log of every time the rash appears and the food that was eaten just before it appeared, that might help you notice specific links. My son has dairy and egg allergies but he gets hives which look like raised white lumps.
