Letting DC1 "be a baby" before DC2 born

My toddler (2y4m) has started saying "I'm a baby" and wanting to be cuddled and held like a baby (not all the time - but probably once or twice a day). Her baby brother is due in 2 weeks, which she seems to understand, and is clearly the source of this. She's accepted not breastfeeding anymore, because the new baby will need all the milk.

Is it ok to humour her a bit? When she says "I'm a baby" I say "you're a big girl but you're still my baby". And I cuddle her like a baby when she asks. I hope im not doing the wrong thing!

Completely fine. And she can still be a baby after the new sibling arrives - why not? There's no need for her to adopt any particular 'big sister' role when the baby comes either. Just roll with it - she will adjust in her own time.

DD did this for a few months after DS was born (4 years age difference). We humoured her (up to a point) and she stopped doing it after a while. It felt like a normal reaction and we weren't really worried. I'd just go with it.
