Hi
I am a ftm and with my age it is probable I will only have the one child.

My son is 18 months next week and I'm looking for some advice/first hand knowledge of parents experiencing similar worries.
My son was born by section, no complications. Was bf for the first 9 weeks until her started with constipation and reflux. He had colic so spent the first 3 months crying most of the time.
His physical milestones have all been spot on, he was walking independently at 12 months exactly.
He has done very little babbling until recently, now he is doing alot of golly golly. He did used to say mama but hasn't said that for a while.
When he's upset he will seek me out comfort, he doesn't like me leaving him. He answers to his name probable 10% of the time, he doesn't like kisses or cuddles unless he's upset and he has very poor eye contact. When he was younger he did cry at noise but he doesn't seem bothered by it now, he is fine in a large group of people and runs around happily at work.
He does flap his arms when excited like he's going to pop but now he's added a head shake in aswel.
He goes for his haircut and he is fine with that, he sits there and seems to enjoy it. He has had one hearing test but wouldn't cooperate so going back in January again. He is very active, loves to walk around and climb, pretty much none stop until bedtime. He does play and when I sit on the floor with him he comes to play with whatever I am playing with. He started pointing very early on but doesn't seem to bother now, I think because I premeditate his needs too much. I'm a very attentive parent who spends most of the time anxious he has everything he wants and needs. He does say Diddy for dummy.
I'm worried that he has so many red flags. I brought the concerns up about him flapping when he had his last review around 12 months, they weren't concerned. I am constantly googling to see it any other parents have similar experience and I'm so tired with all the worry. Sorry for the essay!

I know this is an old thread but your little one sounds very similar to my 18 month old - just wondering how he is doing now?
