Hutchinson’s teeth?

My daughter is 19months old and currently teething. I’m very concerned about her top teeth, the front two one has what I thought was a chip/hole in the bottom and is discoloured yellow at the gum. However I’m noticing the one on the left at the front next to it is also starting to become thinner in the middle as if it going to have the same. The one next to the one on the right is also slightly yellow and looking thin. I took her to the dentist he said she may have an underlying health condition causing it and there’s nothing he can do but for us to monitor it. He referred me to the GP to get her a blood test for any deficiencies or underlying issues sshe may have. He has said the tooth with the hole is exposed to her inner tooth.

When I left the appointment he called me to ask whether there was syphilis present whilst I was pregnant as this looks similar to Hutchinson teeth. My tests were all clear during pregnancy however I did sleep with her dad two days before going into labour. I suppose I’m thinking even if I did contract it from him would it affect her so quickly?

has anyone seen anything like this in their child?
how did you manage it?
do you think it’s Hutchinson teeth?
images attached of her actual teeth and an example of Hutchinson’s teeth attached.

this is so upsetting.

You might find a bit of reassurance in the link above, OP.

Hope you get some clarity soon.

Thank you, I hope so too but will ask the dentist about this.

Hello how did this pan put for you? my daughters teeth came through the same, the dentist didn't refer us for any checks said they'd do nothing. I got a second opinion Nd they said the same. one suggested it might have been because I hD covid while pregnant. now she is 2.5y and one tooth needs removing as it crumbled away, got an infection. very quickly the next tooth along whoch had a defect too also seems to be worsening in the same way. I am quite worried as we have quote a wait for the ",treatment". I have also now been blamed of of doing things wrong which I am offended by as we brush twice a day and saw numerous dentists and the gp about this only to be ignored now surprise surprise they have crumbled so the original defects are not there and I feel not believed. I'm nearly 40 with no fillings myself so have been quite shocked that they have just left them to deteriorate. now they are saying they will try to save the third one with the notch...well ok but why have you waited 2 years for this and not done it at the start like it was clearly weak spots and not going to end well and sure enough it hasn't. I feel so let down.

My dentist said to just give her regular checks, she stays away from cold stuff at times and complains of pains sometimes but none of them have fully crumbled away or become infected.
