Why can’t they do these three hour stretches at night? In the day they are blissfully easy to drop off to sleep.

How old is your little one? They may have day/night confusion.

OR that they want to be close to you at night.

Mine is the same, but if I bedshare she'll do a good 5 hour stretch before wanting a feed.

@Carbon12 how do you Bed share? He’s only a month and I would be scared of rolling on him…

It's actually turned quite a lot colder overnight particularly this week - we've actually started using our heating (no small babies). What's the temperature like where baby sleeps? Have you heated baby's room all night to compensate? (I know you probably have adjusted it, but when it's on our heating is only on for a couple of hours then it goes off in the middle of the night)

Feeding every 2/3 hours day and night is the worst but won't last forever. My 6 week old has only just started sleeping longer at night. I count myself very lucky as my other child didn't.

I've been bedsharing since she was a newborn.

She's 11 weeks now.

Check out the safe sleep 7 here:

However, if my daughter even did 2 hours in the crib without waking, I wouldn't bedshare. She doesn't last a second being put down at night.

At a month old sleep pattern s are still new. I was told to not shut blinds during day, so they became more aware of day and night. The first bit is tough.
