Formula donation...?

I've got a couple of tins of formula that I won't use now. 1 is hypoallergenic when we did a trial (which didn't improve symptoms so was deemed as not the issue - we have since found the issue) but I've also got a few tins of a normal formula too

GP and chemist said the specialist one they unfortunately can't take back once they have been prescribed out. So that will just have to go unfortunately, but unsure what to do with the other normal ones

Food bank are not allowed to take or give out baby formula (?!?!)

It's my fault for stocking up so much on the normal one. I'd rather donate it than try and return it to the supermarket.

Anyone know anywhere I could donate them? I could keep hold of them until someone I know has a baby but conscious of the expiry

Do you have a local nappy bank that could take it?

Olio app or post in a local Facebook group. Someone will appreciate them.

I'd post on our local free cycle site, or Olio or similar.

Do you have any community charities near you who could take it and give it to someone in need. If not people often put uneeded formula on our local Facebook page

Food banks aren’t allowed to take them. As they are classed as a medical product you may struggle to pass them on via Facebook

There's a trade grump formula on fb you can donate it to someone in need
