DUH! now you say! I thought you were doing the first one!

Fold your terry into 3 with all the open/loose corners at your left hand. Take the first layer and pull it across to form a triangle - so it looks like one big triangle. Then flip it over and do the same again! Then fold the middle bit in to make a pad ...

I'm off to bed.

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 23:41

sorry 4 - a square

babyjjbaby · 30/01/2008 23:42

I think the best folds are the "kite" and "bat". I've never got on well with the others.

babyjjbaby · 31/01/2008 10:46

definitly the bat i think it is the best

how long should terries stay thick for i have just comapred my mothercare used ones to mothercare new ones and they have gone quite thin already how long should they last

OP posts:
FlameNFurter · 31/01/2008 14:44

They flatten down fairly quickly - as long as they don't look bald they should be fine!

Indith · 31/01/2008 14:53

bat is ace

I do rather like the jo fold now that ds is getting more mobile though as it is so slim between the legs.

Don't worry too much about mothercare ones getting thin. They do look thin but I still have some that my mum used so they are 26 years old and work fine!

babyjjbaby · 31/01/2008 14:55

thanks they just seem alot thinner already oh well i suppose mothercare are not exactly going to stop doing them they are the only ones are like because they are thin so they are slim when on

OP posts:
Indith · 31/01/2008 15:02

The only way I can tell the difference between the 26 year old mothercare ones and the new ones is checking to see if they have and old or new style label. They last fine!

I like the slimness to them too, and the fact that they don't have thick binding so you can do anything with them. I get a bit annoyed at them not being very square at times though.

babyjjbaby · 31/01/2008 15:14

yeah me too mine are not very square but i love them cos they are so thin

FlameNFurter · 31/01/2008 15:44

I love my bamboo ones - sooooooo slim and no bindings

BigBadMouse · 31/01/2008 21:05

Flame - what brand are your bamboo terries? Mine are all frayed after very little use, wamt some good ones this time round.

FlameNFurter · 31/01/2008 21:15

Mine are babeco I think - got em off nappyzone.
