Teething.

My almost 10 month old appears to be teething, it seems both his top teeth will be coming through simultaneously. I have been giving him calpol for the pain as he has been very grouchy and seemingly uncomfortable and rubbing his gums with teetha.

I've ordered those baltic amber teething bracelets that supposedly help with teething, but are there any recommendations on what i can give him/do to ease his discomfort. he's not yet in agony or pain, it doesn't seem but just always biting down on everything, dribbling and rubbing on his gums, showing some discomfort.

a little off topic, i've also noticed his poop colour to be a very dark green, almost black, im not sure if that's due to teething?? i've read it can also be a reaction of iron in formula or can happen from
exposure to blueberries or fruit with darker colours but i would say he eats blueberries quite often and his formula is the same, so i don't understand why it would've changed in response to either the blueberries or formula.

TIA x

Send them back. They don't work and are a choking hazard.

Stick with the Calpol and Anbesol.

Nurofen is more effective for teething than calpol.

and definitely Anbesol. The liquid, not the gel.

Use both calpol and nurofen, check the dosage but you can use both.
Also keep teething rings in the fridge helps soothe gums.
