Toddler refusing to eat

Hi all,
I've got a 20 month old and just lately she has gone from being a really good eater to barely eating anything at all. She used to have 3 good meals with morning and afternoon snacks in between. Now she might just have a bite or 2 then be done or refuse to eat anything at all. I still offer all her favourites and try and add new things in case she's bored of the same old food. If she doesn't want what I've made I ask and offer something else. I try to involve her in food prep and we sit and eat together at the table but being at the table can sometimes be a trigger for a tantrum and sometimes fine. This last week she has been a little under the weather with a cold.
Any tips or experience would be greatly appreciated 🙂

The cold, perhaps also teething? Toddler eating is a mine field and goes up and down.
My advice- keep offering your meals but if you know they will eat toast, fruit, beans, a yoghurt, offer that after a meal is refused. Don’t stress I swear my youngest will only eat pesto pasta- and my nephew at 2 only ate weetabix - he’s a strapping near 6 foot athletic 14yr old now.

My biggest tip would be absolutely don't stress.

At this age they need less calories compared to the rapid growth they do in their first year, plus they are fabulous at self regulation.

If you're worried, try to look at what she's eaten over a week rather than a day or an individual meal. It helps to give perspective and will take the pressure off if she refuses a couple of meals because she's not hungry.

Can I just ask what milk she's on and how much she has too?

She has full fat cows milk every evening at bed time and most mornings before her nap about 200ml each time.

Our daughter did the same thing at about 2.
I made “goody plates” bread and butter, cheese, carrot sticks, apple, raisins etc.
I would just put it down in the playroom and say nothing, it would be all gone within an hour.
