Best baby play mats?

Anyone have any recommendations please? Not for a baby gym but the playmats you can roll away. Preferably not the ones that fit together like a jigsaw.
I've seen some I like on munchkin and bear but they are quite expensive.
Thank you

I got this one for my little boy and it served him well until he started crawling! It’s nice and big and comes out fine from the washing machine.

Ikea playmat

We got one of these - not cheap but really good quality!

B&M sell a thin memory foam rug for £25 - it's brilliant had the small one to start with (£10) now we have the big one!

mythreeandi · 09/11/2022 14:23

Thanks all.
@MrsSamR that's the type I'm after. I'm happy to spend if it's worth the money.
Want something I can wipe clean if needs be and padded well as we have wood floor.

Totter and tumble are amazing) just don't vacuum with a beater bar attachment or you'll f*uk it up. Also buy a dark colour.

(Mine is cream and covered in tiny tears)

We have one of these in kitchen. Nicely padded and easy to clean and folds up when not needed

Anyone tried one from Nomada? I used to have the Totter & Tumble mat for my older boy, but now I'm using one from Nomada for my newborn. It’s definitely not cheap, but the style is so good that even when my kids stop using it, it can stay in my home as part of the decor. I hated how my house looked like an imploded colour bomb when I had my older kid, so I refused to let my home turn into a Disney princess palace when my baby girl arrived 8 months ago. Lol.

Anyway, in case that’s what you're wondering, it's easy to clean, super soft, cushiony, and does the job well. My little one also loves tummy time on it

Agree re. Totter and Tumble, and the dark colour option. We’ve had ours 3.5 years, played and tramped on every day in our living room, and the dark side still looks new! Don’t hoover it (not necessary), or use a harsh antibac (try Milton spray), and you’ll be glad you spent the money.
