6 week old baby pooping blood?

My baby was on heavy duty antibiotics for an infection she got at 2/3 weeks old. The course lasted seventeen days and has since gone.
However she now poops with every single feed (strains to do this) and passes streaky, mucousy blood.
The doctors checked her stools for infection twice which have come back clear. The doctor then prescribed lactulose but this didn't work either.
Now, my daughter is on a prescribed milk as docs think she might have an intolerance to cows milk.
However, she is still bleeding from her rectum and hates her new milk to the point that she doesn't want to feed or drinks very little.
I was wondering if anybody had been in a similar position or share some advice?
Docs seem to just trial and error and it's so difficult to see my baby like this.
Thanks in advance.

Formula for babies with CMPA can be hit or miss. There are several formulas and the first ones given often only have the protein broken down. There is an amazing CMPA group on Facebook with some every experienced and knowledge parents.

Which milk? Lots of the allergy milks contain partly broken down cmp so they can still trigger more allergic babies. They did mine. Amino acid milks are the go to for these babies, but they usually make you trial the hydrolysed milks first as they're cheaper. Alfamino worked for us.

It takes up to 6 weeks to get dairy out of the body though, so consider that when trying milks.

She was on aptamil which was then changed to cater for cmpa (still aptamil)
I've switched her onto Kendamil now since it's natural, fingers crossed her bleeding stops.

Kendmil is full of milk! If CmPa is suspected they should be giving nutramigen or neocate. I can’t remember which one has the more broken down proteins.
It can take a few weeks for the gut inflammation, the bleeding, to stop.
Adding vanilla essence and sugar to the milk does help them to drink it. You then taper off the sugar.

Some babies also react to soya and soya is in some of the cmpa milks

This with bells on top. Kendamil is still going to cause you problems if your baby has CMPA.

Neocate is the most ‘broken’ down milk you can get. I was advised to add a little nesquick or milkshake powder/liquid to change the taste slightly. Are you solely formula feeding? If bf’ing you would also have to go dairy free.

I’d also look into probiotics for babies that might help to repair the gut lining.
