Broody will it pass?

I've never understood feeling broody until now. I love my dc more than anything and I found nothing more fulfilling than having them and caring for them. Problem is, they're not cheap. Dh and I both work full time since dc started school.

Dc are 4.5 and I would love another. I've never felt like this before. I can hardly talk about it without crying. Will it pass?

Out of interest, if you want a baby so badly, would you not consider having one?

I think it does pass. I as obsessed with having dc and then had fertility trouble. Just when I got unexpectedly pregnant I had gone off the whole thing.

Eh. People make it work all the time. If it's making you that miserable you'll figure it out. They're not that expensive for the first few years unless you put them in nursery.

I’d look into why you’re broody and what’s making you feel that way. If you already have children what would another bring that the others haven’t? They are costly but it’s not just that. In todays society childrens needs are even greater and they deserve room and time for that which inevitably just gets split when they’re older we never know what will happen. Too many are doing this and not considering at all not just costs but time, energy, mental well-being and needs of the children at all ages not just when young. Also think is you ever god forbid it doesn’t happen but if you ever did split can you then handle costs and energy by yourself. It also goes without saying that it’s also a cost to those who don’t have kids with taxes and benefits that are given when there is already such a strain.

Roxybabe · 27/10/2022 19:37

How many children do you have? I say go for it, see what happens, you'll find a way.

@Georgybell aren't you full of the joys 😂
Who do you think will pay the taxes of the future? And also benefits? Where?! Point me in the right direction please.
