Worried

DD has been ill now for almost three weeks. Low appetite, a fever on at least one night, inflamed tonsils and pale.
I have visited the doctors twice as they have been off school on two occasions. Both times doctors check throat, confirm there’s no bacterial infection and say it’s viral and it will pass.
Today, DD had a nose bleed on school bus. She also had a nose bleed last month too.
Daughter has also had a swollen node oj neck now for the best part of year but because doctor thinks it’s reactive, I was fine. It hasn’t dramatically increased in size although you can notice it if she turns her head.
I suppose what I’m asking is does this sound like typical childhood illness - starting primary school and just bedding in or is it more sinister?
I will contact doctors tomorrow about the nose bleed.
Thanks.

I’m not a medical professional but the nose bleeds and swollen node on neck is what my DD gets. She had terrible tonsillitis as a child and ended up with them out with her adenoids too and grommets in her ears. She’s my first child so can’t say if the swollen lymph node is common but the nose bleeds do tend to tie in with just a general period of her being run down. I know how worrying it all is and I’m forever on the phone to the dr and my mum for advice!
I always think better safe than sorry of you are in any doubt get her seen again.
