Poorly 3 year old refusing medicine

My 3 year old is unwell mainly a fever that he's had for 3 days now. A doctor has said to keep up with calpol/nurofen to manage the fever and prescribed antibiotics (4 times a day!)

He's had enough and is completely refusing, I worry with antibiotics so I'm forcing them down him (a literal hold his arms down while he cries job) and it just feels like it's going to make it worse and make him more anti-them.

Tried bribery, stickers, sweets and ice cream straight after. No luck and he's a stubborn little soul. We're skipping the calpol altogether as it's hard enough just getting antibiotics down him 4 times a day but it means he's had a fever constantly today.

What can I do? Negotiating is failed so I need him to take it without realising he's taking it really?! How?!

Try mixing it with petit filous, or a similar yogurt? He'll probably know though, but the old spoonful of jam idea after may work.. Other than that hold down and squirt in the cheek and hold his mouth closed. Its often the only way. If they fever is not really bothering him don't worry about it. Keep him hydrated and in cool clothing. Don't worry about antibiotics in the future, kids often don't have more than a course or two in their younger years (unless its recurring tonsillits), and by the time they may need more they are open to reason. DS has had a couple of courses in his lifetime and he is 9
