How to get my baby to eat savoury foods

My babys just started on solid foods but she'll only eat sweet foods like banana, porridge, yoghurt. She won't eat any vegetables or potatoes etc. How did you get your sweet toothed babies to try savoury foods? Smile

Mix it with something sweet. We started with sweeter veggies like carrots and sweet potatoes and mixed them with some of their milk.

Mostly though just don't stress it and keep offering the food. Eventually they'll eat it

Yogurt and porridge needn’t be sweet, have you given plain or Greek yogurt and porridge made with just milk and oats?

How old is your baby?

I’d focus on giving savoury foods as we know they’re predisposed to eat sweeter things. She doesn’t need to eat them but trying them and playing with textures is good for her. Keep is cheap and stress free with plain yogurt, cucumber sticks, bits of wholemeal bread, steamed broccoli etc.
