Can anyone advise about slapped cheek syndrome

As I'm worrying now ! I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my ds 7 has a random rash on the back of his hands which is really itchy. It was like a nettle rash but smaller bumps and white, but since he's been scratching them it's gone red. Last week he had a slight cold, blocked nose and sore throat for two days then nothing, not even a temp with it. He has one red cheek, but it's not uncommon for him to get this when he's had a virus so I thought nothing of it.

I've got a slightly funny throat now and slightly blocked nose. Ended up freaking myself out from googling 😩😩

Of course I'm convinced he's got slapped cheek and I'm going to get it.
Where would the rash typically appear on the body? Atm he hasn't got it anywhere else just the back of his hands, which seems to have calmed down now and he's stopped scratching them. Weird though because he said he's been itching all over today at school...

I caught it from my niece when I was 26 weeks pregnant (most adult women are naturally immune from childhood and it doesn't matter, like Chicken pox) but I tested positive. It's only really a risk before 20 weeks. I had many scans and due to that and small growth/breech had a paediatric team in my section but it was totally all fine. You can be tested but at 37 weeks, but I wouldn't panic.

My niece only had bright red cheeks, no sickness, I had the same cheeks but felt unwell.

Sounds unlikely to be slapped cheek, apparently the cheeks are very distinctive. I know because I went through the same panic at 10 weeks pregnant! I sent some photos to the GP, they said it was unlikely but sorted a blood test for me anyway and it turns out I'd had the virus at some point previously. My DS did have two red cheeks, but not the real fire engine red. From my memory of frantic googling it's mainly a concern if you're before 20 weeks? At any rate, contact your midwife / GP

Do the cheeks stay red all the time or do they come and go ? I ask because his cheek is back to normal now.
His cheeks were red yesterday but not overly so, just flushed looking, I just put it down to being viral.
I've had so much anxiety this pregnancy, he actually caught chicken pox earlier on in my pregnancy and Covid the week before that which I caught too! So now I'm worrying myself silly about this.

Because I've got a slightly sore throat and a little congestion I have been advised that my son should see the gp to diagnose slapped cheek, if it is then they will take blood from me to see if I'm already immune. But I'm 37+3... is there any point considering they can't do anything anyway ?!
