My son loves a wee milky tea at night. I admit I'm probably a bit over protective and completely out of whack with stuff like this but what age did your child use the kettle

Eight. I thought he could handle a kettle since he’d already learned to drive.

We had this conversation this morning while led in bed discussing whose turn it was to make coffee 🤣

We decided that my 9 year old is old enough to be taught to use the boiling water tap, but am not convinced I’d trust him to carry a coffee up the stairs, so I’d still have to get out of bed!

About 7 or 8

But I wouldn’t be keen on tea at night because of caffeine and waking up to pee. So I am overprotective in a different way I guess
