Day time nap location after baby outgrows Moses basket

My 8 week old has been sleeping day and night in her Moses basket (as well as on me and in the pram during the day) but she’s close to outgrowing it. We have now swapped to the Next to Me crib at night but I was wondering what to do about day time naps in the living room when she’s not on me or when I need to put her down safely during the day while I do something. The pram is the same size as the Moses basket so she will also outgrow it soon and doesn’t sleep that well in it anymore as she tends to kick the sides and startle herself. What has worked for you in this situation?

We had a travel cot. It was bought to plonk her in if I needed to dash to the door as it would keep her safe from the dogs etc, and also for naps. I mean she never slept if it wasn't on me sadly, but that's what we had planned.

I have mine napping on the floor on folded large blanket, as I never can put him down without waking him after he falls aslep while feeding. Not sure what will I do during winter though.

I always put mine in their cot in the bedroom.

Our daughter happilg napped in a sling, so we would often put her in there, if not we would just put her on the floor or in her pram

Is she sleeping in the carry cot bit of the pram? Does the seat bit lie flat? Mine napped from a very early age almost exclusively in their pram - hated the Moses basket, cot, but would actually go to sleep in the pram.

We had a large cardboard baby box. It was free. Don’t know if you can still get them. Also put her straight down on a mat on the floor to nap and in the bouncer.

On the living room floor, on a folded blanket. Meant I could keep an eye out while still doing stuff.

If you only have one child, put them on the floor. I used to have a snug thing for DS1 that was basically a rubber ring with fabric over it.

With DS2, it was impossible for him to nap with DS1 in the room. So he went up to his room for naps.

Thanks for the ideas! I might look into getting a travel cot. She sleeps in the pram when we are out walking but not as well at home. I think we’ll have to stop using the carrycot soon anyway as she’s a long baby and won’t last in it until 6 months. We have a Uppababy Cruz but I think I’ll need a insert for it to properly lay back flat. Unfortunately the floor is probably not a good option for us as we have a cat even though he hasn’t shown much interest in DD yet.
