Sleep - won't tolerate sleeping bag or duvet!

My 23 month DD won't tolerate sleeping bags anymore - she undoes them (even if put on backwards), and fights when put in them, so we've recently put a duvet on her cot bed.

She seems to hate that too! She's usually a really fidgety sleeper and the duvet stops her from moving around as freely as she used to and she's not sleeping as well. Any suggestions for this stage? Do we just persevere with the duvet? It's been 4 days and she's so insanely tired the whole time! This stage has coincided with her dropping her afternoon nap too.

I'm conscious it's mild and we could probably just put her down in pjs but seems like it's just putting off the problem rather than solving it!

Get the ones with feet they're brilliant, Slumbersac do them and they are great quality, I had mine for 3 kids and have passed them on and theyre still immaculate.

Mine had fleece sleepsuits over their normal pjs

Sleeping bag with feet so its basically a big padded babygrow, then they can still move

why does she have to have something over her, my neice hated her sleep sack and hated being swaddled when she was an infant, she apparently just runs hot and hated being confined because she had hypermobilty, obviously she might not have it but just saying

The trouble with the sleepsuits or sleeping bags, even with feet is that she loves unzipping things and will unzip them in the middle of the night and then wake up really confused and in a muddle!

She seems to be getting on better with the duvet tonight but that might just be because she's so tired. Thanks for your help everyone

My two hate being covered. In winter they get winter PJ's and if they get get cold they'll shout soon enough to be tucked in, otherwise if they're sleeping...I leave them to it.
