Bath time supervision

I have two DS aged 3 and 5. They bath together and are supervised.

At what age can you leave them to it in a shallow-ish warm bath? They both go swimming regularly and are happy with their heads under water if that's relevant!

Also, at what age should they stop bathing together? I guess they will be too big to both fit in the bath soon anyway, but do I wait for their cue to stop bathing together or do I need to lead this?

They don't like showers apart from at the swimming pool - don't ask me why!

For as long as they are happy to? I think I had the occasional bath with DD a few years after this.

I stopped supervising DD when she around this age but I stayed upstairs and she made so much noise I knew she was fine. I’d poke my head in if there was ever a rare moment of quiet.

DD is 3 and we pop in and out. She is very noisy so we can always hear her! I imagine two playing together can be heard from quite far away Grin

My DS decided he didn't want to share a bath anymore somewhere between 8 and 9, so took his lead. DD is 6 and I don't religiously supervise but stay upstairs.
