Essentials for holiday abroad with 3 year old and 3 month old?!

We are due to go on holiday with our children in 2 weeks. It's just me and my husband going with them (usually my parents would be with us)

Can anyone recommend some essentials to have for both of them please to make it as smooth as possible?

I have got a list already but any advise would be appreciated 😊 it's only a 2 hours flight so hopefully that won't cause to much stress! Although we do have a 3 year old who like to be on the move 24/7!

We’ve just done holiday with a 4 month old and 4 year old. Granted the 4 year old was a lot easier to deal with than a 3 year old. But-
plane snacks, we put them in a Tupperware box so no need for multiple packets of things etc. iPad if they have one with downloaded programmes. You could also do a little toy bag with some new ones thrown in so he gets a new one every so often into the flight, we used hot wheels cars when we flew with my eldest at around 2.5years and it worked fairly well.
sling for the baby if you have one, makes it easier for the time your waiting for the pushchair the other end. Baby milk if your formula feeding can go through security.

hope you have a wonderful holiday x

Thank you for your suggestions!

I've got the ready made formula bottles, husband was convinced I wouldn't be allowed to bring them through! But was sure I could!

Snacks is great! He doesn't stop eating so I'll make sure I have plenty to go with his tabelt! Will download as many things as possible 😂

Will definitely be popping to the shop to get him some new toys as well!!

Yes can definitely take the pre made through. They say only enough for your flight but we’ve always taken roughly 36 hours worth through just incase of delays or the unlikely event a bag doesn’t make it the other end. Or you can usually do click and collect at boots through security I’ve heard people do.

I've purchased arojnd the same amount, I'm hoping they will let me throgub with them so I can then use them coming back as well! Dont want to weigh the case down with them. I've ordered my tub of formula through boots but unfortunately they didn't have the pre made ones in stock!

Yes you should be absolutely fine. With my first when we went away with him we took a good 2/3 days worth through and no one questioned us. We took majority pre made and just spread amongst our cases but yes it does add the weight on. I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine. They just have to test each one separately so may take a bit of time
