If he's wetting through at night, I'd probably go up a nappy size. Even just at night. Usually fixes it for me

Hiddenvoice · 24/08/2022 21:39

Could he be cold at night time? My friends little boy named as the same and the health visitor pointed out that the thermometer in the room was wrong and he was actually cold.
Also could the nappies be the wrong size for him and actually a bit too big?
Any concerns then I would speak to your doctor to get him checked, just to make sure it’s not a medical reason.

My dd was like this, but she drank so much throughout the day (she still does). Probably doesn’t help you now but potty training her just over aged 2 helped. Although she wasn’t dry at night, she wee’d a lot lot less.

Wedding2018 · 24/08/2022 21:45

@Hiddenvoice i think they are too small for him because he always fiddling with his nappy, im just worried he could have diabetes coz he can have 4 bottle of juice per day and he drink it very fast,

4 bottles of juice? Do you mean water or milk?

FirstAidKitNowPlease · 24/08/2022 21:48

If it's juice he's drinking there's your issue.

Hopefully it's regional term for milk/ water !

Irridescantshimmmer · 24/08/2022 21:56

You are right to be cautious about diabetes, as thirst and weight loss are the first symptoms.

Speak to a nurse at your GP surgery as soon as you can, even if it is not T1 diabetes which you child has and the symptoms are horrendous if not picked up in time.

I have also been diabetic since childhood.

Wedding2018 · 24/08/2022 21:58

Yes i meant water i just call his bottle a juice bottle, he only as full fat milk at night to get him to sleep

Why are you giving him so much juice? He should be drinking water. No wonder you are concerned about diabetes.

DrNo007 · 24/08/2022 21:59

Sorry just saw your update, you mean water. Ok.

ohthejoysoftoddler · 24/08/2022 22:00

Size up the night nappy and take to the docs for a check .

Carrieonmywaywardsun · 24/08/2022 22:06

4 bottles of drink sounds normal, especially if he's weeing the right amount. Go up a size in nappies and see if that helps
