Hi

First time mum.
Due to go abroad and have to do wuite abit of shopping to prepare.

Do baby sun protective seimming outfits not make them hotter in the sun as it is all closed and has sleeves. Would it not be better to let baby float on a floaty in pool with a shaded roof style to nlock sun

Uv rays reflect off of water and will get onto baby even with a shade. I always tend to find the suits keep them cooler as they get wet and more of the area stays wet for longer. Rather than a normal costume where their skin dries quickly.

I put mine in separate bottoms as babies (bikini ones for DD, trunks for DS) and short sleeved rash vest UV top. Mainly because easier for nappy changes than any sort of all in one swimsuit!

You can get two piece sun suits like this www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/kids-safari-2piece-sun-protection-suit-h2452.html
Easier for nappy changes.

The water will keep them cool. I personally don’t like those baby floaties.

I agree with PPs I wouldn't want to risk baby burning. Also agree that the 2 piece suits are way better! Being in the water will keep them nice and cool.
