Would a childminder take on a baby that doesn't sleep

Daughter is 10 weeks old and in October I am wanting her to go to a childminders 3 days a week. She has Cows milk allergy and reflux, she's on SMA Alfamino and Omeprazole. She doesn't sleep in the day and the nights are bad too. Would a childminder take on a baby that doesn't sleep, I know in October she might be a different baby, but thinking they might take her on and then refuse her as she needs too much attention.

Thanks.

I think I'd ask to start her much earlier than you need. I had to cancel a similar baby but I was very early on in my career. Look for someone established who isn't expecting an influx of new children.

In my experience they love having a baby to fuss over.

My youngest was a nightmare with gut problems, allergies, glue ear so couldn't hear/talk, the ear issue gave balance issues so he was 18 months ish before he walked.

He went at 12 weeks and he's almost 7 now and still one of their faves.

They're like other mothers in my opinion. My setting is childcare on domestic premises rather than childminder so there are a few more staff but still very personal. The only issue a lone childminder might have is not having enough hands. You may have to look at other options with more staff.

And you're right, October is miles away in baby years!x

Plus they have 100000 Times more experience than us as mum's believe it or not. If anything it's the daycare staff that created my routines for me for both my children - same ladies had my eldest too whose almost 13 x

That baby would fit quite well in a setting like mine. We're out and about a lot and the younger ones like nothing more than sitting watching everything. Sometimes they nod off in pram but as long as they're not inconsolable due to lack of sleep they'll be fine
