my toddler keeps holding her wrist as if she’s in pain and saying ow, she’s been doing it for days but also uses her hand fine and doesn’t have any swelling or redness or anything. any insight please?

Maybe she hit her wrist and just got very slight soft tissue damage.

My DD constantly complains of aches in her limbs and both the GP and pediatrician have put it down to growing pains. I thought growing pains are a myth but not according to them.

If it doesn't get better I'd probably go to the GP but it's unlikely to be serious if she isn't in considerable and noticeable pain.

Small children are notorious for getting green stick fractures in their arms and carrying on as normal. Their bones are so bendy it's really easy to do. My nephew broke his arm and his parents had no idea how he'd done it, he was throwing himself around the ground and climbing as normal for a couple of days, the only thing that he didn't like was having his arm moved to get dressed/undressed and when he was lifted out for the highchair.
