How can I keep my baby warm this winter?

Hi,
I have a little girl who will be one in September.
I'm just thinking of ways I'll be able to keep her warm for bed in the winter, she doesn't like sleeping bags at all as she doesn't like to be restricted but I also don't want her to be cold.
I'm thinking a long sleeve vest under her pyjamas of course but not sure what else I can do.
For various reasons I don't feel comfortable with a quilt as I know they can have one past a year old, but would a cellular blanket work?

Tights or leggings under pj’s or a sleep suit under pj’s
hand knitted is normally really warm
thick blanket under mattress sheet,
big safe teddy for her to cuddle

My house is old and cold OP. My sons are good with quilts now but when they were smaller they had vest, socks, normal pjs and then a thicker onesie on top in the winter. Not restricted and doesn't get kicked off.

We often will use the 2.5 tog sleepsuits. They used to be called sleep snugglers by jojomamembabe but I've since seen them in sainsburys too for much less

Our DS used to have them as also didn't like sleeping bags and worked a treat

Have you tried a bigger sleeping bag? They’re not very restrictive as their arms are free and there’s lots of space to move their legs inside. Or there’s the ones that have feet holes.

I personally wouldn’t have my baby without a sleeping bag in winter (also wouldn’t be comfortable with duvets yet, he moves so much he’d get tangled).

I'd give a duvet a try! We moved our little girl to pillow and duvet at about 14m and it went really well.

She just doesn't like sleeping bags at all, she likes to be free when she's sleeping 😂 I'll take a look at the one with legs though, as that sounds less restrictive, thank you!

Ah, I would but honestly she's one of those sleepers that is just everywhere, she starts the night at the top of the cot and goes at every angle possible so I just worry she'll get trapped under a quilt!
